Vor kurzem haben wir als Familie Indien besucht - eine Reise, die unseren Kindern vor allem dazu dienen sollte, das Land, das ihre Eltern vier Jahre lang ihr Zuhause nannten, kennenzulernen. Doch wir kamen mit weit mehr als Erinnerungen an alte Zeiten zurück. Wir erlebten hautnah, was Gott Großes tun kann mit dem Wenigen, das wir ihm von uns zur Verfügung stellen.

Dieses Jahr brachte uns der Dezember nicht nur die Adventszeit, sondern auch die Fußballweltmeisterschaft. Für unsere Familie bedeutet das, dass unsere normalerweise recht strengen TV-Beschränkungen in den Wind geworfen werden und wir alle vor dem Bildschirm kleben, anfeuern und diskutieren und uns im Allgemeinen so verhalten, als wären wir alle Fußballprofis. Und nein, ich saß nicht da und suchte nach Inspiration für einen Blogbeitrag.
